Hi there! Have been reading the 2Peas photography course, '12 weeks to better photos', so had a bit of a play around yesterday,and was impressed with how much actually sunk in.... been playing around with aperture....I have had my Canon 20D for over 2 years and don't know a thing really about it, so hopefull I can learn abit from this... A bit shameful really for the daughter of a professional photographer!

And some LO's, this one is for a challenge at Scrap Therapy, better go and upload it over there... had to do one celebrating yourself, I didn't really celebrate myself but am in the mode as alot of other Scrap Friends of re-assesing yourself... I think it is just the time of year to do this... I have been doing alot of thinking lately...

A couple of really simple LO's for my wedding album, really happy that I have added to my album, I am keeping it just red, pink, black and white, and it is coming together really well, even if they don't look like much on thier own........

One for a challenge at Scrap Therapy, had to be in Red, White and Blue, and had to have a flag in it also...not my flashest but it got me going with some scrappy things....

This one is for a swap at Sm forum, it was the first LO I had done in a while, I don't love it, luckily I had a few photos of the sweet little man printer out, so may have to make two!!! That might surprise my swap partner!!

And last but not least, an entry for my 2008 journal... I am surprisingly loving doing this journal, it is quick and easy and I just feel free when I am doing it, so that is a good thing, I feel as though I',m getting my scrapping bug back!! FINALLY!!! YAY for that! Oh and Miss Moo yesterday playing in her room, she is so good at playing by herself, and to hear her play is hilarious, she tells all her Little People off, we just crack up!!!

Entry in my 2008 journal! It was pics from a lovely afty we had here on the 12th of Jan. Not much else scrapping wise.... can't explain... I'm a bit over it at the moment... am doing a CC this weekend but even that seems too hard! Oh well.....

HI!! I'm still around and still thinking about scrapping, haven't done much, January is almost over and I fell like I've been flat out!! Thanks for coming to visit, I promise I'll have some scrapping stuff to show you next week!!

Wow, a bit of scrapping to share, the LO is for Scrapping with the Stars at Scrap Therapy, the star this round is Zina Wright, and i really dig her scrapping style, I enjoyed it. I have yet to get back into my scrapping, my head is elsewhere at the moment.....
This is my diary/journal for 2008, the cover is slapped together but I like it.... I am really hoping to fall pregnant, I think that is why my scrapping isn't inspiring me at them mo.... I am feeling a bit consumed by it. It has been 6 months since I lost the baby, I guess I thought I'd be pregnant again by now... It didn't take very long with Mia and the bub I lost to fall pregnant... I know my time will come but I'm starting to feel impatient and the whole thing of it is staring to get to me, ALOT of my friends are pregnant or just had babies, and I'm not jealous but I am envious I guess... Anyway, I want to use the journal to put these feelings down and also to use it for recording everyday happiness, to remind myself that really I am blessed in my life... I have lots of goodness in my life and I don't really want for anything ( except a holiday to the Maldives LOL) TFL, sorry to be such a sad sack!!! xxx

Been home since Thursday afty but am still to contemplate scrapping although my mind is buzzing wiht ideas, but alas, have been cleaning, sorting out washing, putting away Chrissy Presents etc etc etc, you get the idea!!!! Mia is in her clam, EVERYDAY! Some mornings even before she has breakfast, she loves it!

Excited kids waiting for the Street Parade to start, unfortunately alot of it freaked Mia out and she sat on my lap for most of it crying that she wanted to go home! But she survived and ended up having a good night!

Not much to report around here, had a disaster on Wednesday night although I didn't discover it until Thurs morn..... Have been working on MIL and Mum's calenders, they are fairly simple but still have taken up a bit of time.... On Wednesday I put some DM on some letters on one of the months for MIL, and because Mia was showing an unhealthy interest in the drying DM i quickly put the calender on top of my oven to dry so she couldn't touch it! Then we went out for the evening... A HUGE storm rolled in while we were out and our roof obviously has a leak in it as water came in through the fan in the ceiling straight above the oven and got my calender all wet! Letters disintegrated, ink ran, Bazzill ran and stuck to other pages,it was heartbreaking... and only 2 days before we go south, I have no time to do another one even remotely like it! I am so angry with myself to have put it where I put it, I had no idea that water would come in like that, I just wish I had of put it on my desk..... I will be able to do another one but it won't be the same!

Any way, this will more thatn likely be my last post before I go away so you may not hear from me until the New Year!

This is for ScrapTherapy scrapping with the Stars, I love the K&co peppermint twist papers, but man, my scrapping is so simple and a bit boring, but I'm just a lazy scrapper I guess, especially lately, I have lost it BIG TIME, but in the NEW YEAR I will be all energised again to Scrap up a storm!!!
