Hi there...just popping in to update on the new addition to the family....

Ali, Brenton & Mia welcomed LEXI ROSE this morning at 10.15. She was a healthy 7lb 10oz and is doing REALLY well, they are feeling very proud and relieved! Ali is absolutely in love with her gorgeous new daughter.

At this stage it looks like the family will be off to Melbourne on Friday or Monday for Lexi's first heart operation, I am sure that you will be keeping them close to your hearts over the days, weeks and months ahead.

Hi, just a little update.. well we are in Adelaide awaiting arrival of Bubba..
I'm feeling very ready to meet this little one now. I'm trying to take it easy, and it hasn't been all that hard. Mia is loving spending alot of time with her Nanna, and I'm enjoying spending some time with my Mum. Mia is playing up every night to go to sleep, but I can't blame her I guess, it's all abit different for her at the moment.....
Thanks to Aga for awarding me the blogger award... I'm going to be a slacko and just say I love all of the blogs that I read and so the award will stop with me this time!! SORRY!! And I'm on dial-up at the moment so I'm keeping blog hopping to a minimum!
And Aga, hopefully next year my blog will get a whole lot more interesting!!! Coz, right now it would be ultra boring!!! lol!!

Thanks to my lovely friends....you know who you are who help me through it all... I'm feeling VERY positive and it's all one step at a time, and that is the way our lives will be moving along, one step at a time!!

I have a new blog attatched to this one called OUR HEART FAMILY which has not much info in it yet, but will be used to record our Bubbas journey....

Thanks for visiting.... I'm a big slack blogger ATM but know it's what happens when a baby is about to arrive on the scene! Can't wait to meet this little one and show it off!!!

Quick little update for whoever may pop in! No photos, as I still don't have my camera back from getting cleaned, almost 3 weeks now! I have been taking photos on my little Kodak but haven't put them to the 'puter yet? It is amazing thouhg, how much I am missing my camera, I am seeing alot of 'photos' of Mia through out my day....
A friend and I put our kids in the car last night and went for a drive around town looking at Christmas lights... There was about 4 that are award worthy, I think I was more excited than the kids when we saw the first lot of magnificent lights.

Am 35 weeks now and feeling it!! Haven't had a photo for a month!! Naughty.... 10 days left and then we head to Adelaide... I really am looking forward to it, I'll be with my Mum for a while before bubs is born. I have really missed our family lately. I haven't lived in the same town as our families for 3 years now, and have gotten used to it,but just lately have been wishing we were closer... But you get that, and there are sacrifices that are made for job opportunities.... I'm not complaining just sometimes wishing....

Quiet weekend here, DH is working today which I don't like, but he sometimes just has to work on the weekends!!!

Take care!

Hi! Am still alive!
These two photos are from Friday, we made HEAPS of biscuits, and they are YUM, they still needed the white chocolate on them, but I LOVE them, I tend to only make them at Christmas time every year.
Next to make is the choc truffle balls and white choc truffle balls, which are totally divine!

This is Mia on Thursday night at her Kindy Concert. For those that know where we live, it hardly EVER rains here, except for last Friday night when the concert was originally scheduled and then Thursday night for when it was re-scheduled. About an hour before it was supposed to start the storms rolled in, we had a huge downpour, the sky was red with dust and there was thunder and lightening and rain. Phone calls between four of my friends and the Kindy resulted in us going to the Kindy to hear the kids sing their 4 songs and then back home again! So, that was the Kindy concert for the year! It was a pity that it ended up the way it did as not all of the Kindy Kids were there......

And lastly an older photo that I found on my Kodak camera, which I am
using at the moment as my Canon is in Adelaide having a good clean before bubs arrives.... This is hubby and I when we went and saw Chopper earlier in the year. I saw him quite a few years ago and thought I had enjoyed the show but maybe I have matured as this time I thought he told the same stories and really has not much charisma, just stands there talking and not making much sense! Anyway, we had a nice night just the two of us and it was just before I found out I was pregnant so it was a last hurrah for me, lucky I made the most of the strongbows that night!

As for bubba news, the baby is scheduled to be born by c-section at the end of December, and then we will have to see what happens. Alot of the outcomes are very up in the air at the moment.. Not that the baby won't survive or anything like that because it WILL and it will thrive, BUT what I mean is that we just really don't know what will happen and when as far as operations and procedures for baby! I will try to keep you as updated as I can but I just might not have the time to let you know day to day what is happening in our lives.... Please just presume that no news is good news!!

Am 34 weeks now, and having had swollen ankles, feet and hands for the past couple of days, have been trying to take it easy.. I went to the hospital last night as I just was not comfortable with how my feet were looking and feeling! But all was fine with my blood pressure and proteins etc.. so back home to just rest. I was talking to one of my friends today and am thinking a cleaner might be in order for the last couple of weeks that I am here so that I can concentrate on other more important things like packing and sorting stuff out! Will definately be looking onto that one!
Hope your weekend has been good! I have had DH home all weekend which has been fab!

Well here I am in this piccy taken just tonight! I am now 31 and a half weeks! And that half is very important, OK!!! Bubba is very active and has the hiccups at least once a day. The heartburn is getting to be a real problem at night now, I stand at the fridge and frantifcally skoll milk out of the carton in the middle of the night(when the Mylanta tabs aren't cutting it anymore) and have waaaay too many pillows under my head at night! Add that to the one under my belly aswell and I'm taking up alot of room in the bed! If I lay on my left side, bubba kicks on the right side of my belly and HARD, same thing happens if I lay on my right side, but opposite, IYKWIM!!! At least I haven't got the leg cramps at night YET!! I have started to get discolouration on my face, not even sure what it is called, maybe pigmentation something or other..... I had it with Mia and it went away afterwards so I'm cool with that! I HAVEN'T got stretch marks yet and didn't with Mia so can you all keep your fingers crossed that I don't get them this time, although, I don't think I will really care, just don't want them!! I'm not complaining really, just writing it down for later, ok! Although I will be happy when the heartburn goes, it is really ridiculous!!

Oh, and when I started the little baby counter on the side, it was on 196 days until the baby was born and now it is not so many days anymore, scary but am starting to get the feeling that I want to meet this little bundle of trouble soon!!

And a pic of Mia taken on my webcam on the laptop, just copying Belinda, saw that she did it a while back!! Mia loved it!

So, all in all a little pregnancy update, ok!

Hi again... two posts in a week, it's a PB for my blogging lately!
Above is my entry into Witchy's CJ in Ruby's swap. I really thought that we were never going to see Witchy's and Orange's CJ's again, but I never gave up, I must admit I had a real bee in my bonnet about them.... It is hard to explain, but I wasn't going to give in...

And the above one is for Naomi's CJ in Simmi's swap, there are some beautiful pages in there already, felt a little intimidated but just did my thing....

As promised, here is Jamie Olivers Chicken Chow Mein Recipe...
It's mainly for you Skye, let me know how you go with it...
Basically the philosophy of his new book, MINISTRY OF FOOD, is that you learn a recipe and pass it on, so kinda don't think he would care that'lil 'ol me is putting it on my blog... I DID change it a tiny bit, no BOK CHOI in this house, DH would not eat it, so I used some fresh button mushies and some carrot as I knew he would eat them. I cooked them in the oil at the start to give them a chance to cook properly then pulled them out and chucked them back in later... Oh and I used peanut oil instead of groundnut oil.....And, one more change, I didn't use chook breast, I used tenderloins, and chopped them up, just coz I like them better!!!
Ok, here it is!!

serves 2
*a thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger
*2 cloves garlic
*1/2 -1 fresh red chilli, to your taste
*1 large skinless chicken breast, free-range or organic
*sea salt and fresh ground black pepper
*2 spring onions
*a small bunch of fresh coriander
*1 bok choi
*optional: 4 shiitake mushrooms
*100g (2 bundles) medium egg noodles
*groundnut oil
*1 heaped teaspoon cornflour
*1 x 220g tin water chestnuts
*2-3 tablespoons soy sauce
*1 small lime

TO PREPARE YOUR STIR~FRY
* put a large pan of water on to boil
*peel and finely slice the ginger and garlic
*finely slice the chilli
*slice the chicken into finger-sized strips and lightly season with S & P
*cut the ends off your spring onions and finely slice
*pick the coriander leaves and put to one side, and finely chop the coriander stalks
*halve the bok choi lengthways
*if using the shiitake mushrooms, either tear into pieces or leave whole

TO COOK YOUR STIR~FRY
*preheat a wok or a large frypan on a high heat and once it's very, very hot add a good lug of groundnut oil and swirl it around *Stir in the chicken and cook for a couple of minutes until the chicken browns slightly * Add the ginger, garlic, chilli, coriander stalks, mushrooms (if using) and half the spring onions *stirfry for 30seconds keeping everything moving round the wok quickly *Add your noodles and bok choi to the boiling water and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, no longer * meanwhile, add the cornflour, water chestnuts and their water to the wok and give it another good shake to make sure nothing sticks to the bottom *remove from the heat and stir in the 2 tablespoons of soy sauce *halve the lime, squeeze the juice of one half into the pan and mix well * Drain the noodles and bok choi in a colander over a bowl, reserving a little of the cooking water *stir in the noodles and bok choi with a little of the cooking water to loosen if necessary and mix well * have a taste and season with more soy sauce if needed

TO SERVE YOUR STIR~FRY
*use your tongs to divide everything between two bowls or plates, or to lift on to one large serving platter *spoon any juices over the top and sprinkle with the rest of the spring onions and coriander leaves *serve with lime wedges

So there you go, Jamie Olivers recipe! And please please please don't be tempted to leave out the chilli or the lime if you are unsure, they really work well in the dish.. It was truly delicious!! I will also say that if you feel like going and getting yourself a pressie, make it this book, it is full of fab recipes that you will actually cook, and not just shove in the bookshelf.....

Hi
Two of my fave people going for a dip on Saturday afty!
Finally we have our paving done.
Now I just want the inside of my house re-tiled which would make me happy for now
I love how I got them both jumping in at the same time
Note my Dad in the corner video-ing aswell!
He took that much video when he was here, mainly lots of Mia singing!

I was in a swap over at THE BOXX which was a 'jar of whimsy' swap, sooooo exciting to get the goodies this morning, many thanks to Janine!
I thought I had heaps of stash but Janine really spoilt me with lots of things I have never even seen before! Goes to show that there is so many different styles out there!
I love all this lot!

Random photo of Mia eating spaghetti bolognese. She has a face only a mother could love!
What sort of title should I use for my page that I will eventually do???

This girl is gung-ho when it comes to just jumping in the pool!
She gets more game each time she gets in.
I love these type of shots of her in mid-air...

And finally a LO that I started last Tues at Tatums house. I am liking what I have been doing lately even though I haven't been scrapping much.
I'm not very adventurous but I don't care much at all, I am just happy to try and scrap here and there.

Two weeks today and we will be in Adelaide having some more scans on Bubs, and hopefully find out the date the baby will be born. I am really looking forward to finding out for sure when this little life will make it's appearance.
My anxiety is growing everyday... I just can't help but worry.
I am more than confident in the medical profession, It's just something that always creeps into your mind. And at the silliest times! I was watching Mia sleep last night and shed a few tears, just at how lucky we are that she is so healthy and had a little tiny pity party at the same time.... I thought to myself, Why can't this one be healthy too??
But all sorts of people face all sorts of challenges and we all live to tell the tales,
and marvel at how strong people can be when they need to..

Enough of that!!!

Thanks for popping in and leave me some loving!
I forgot I was going to put the Jamie Oliver Chicken Chow Mein recipe up and I still will, but maybe tommorow! SORRY!!
My wireless modem has arrived today and I want to get that all connected, imagine me blogging from the bliss of my recliner chair!!!
Noice!!!

Oh how my little girl has grown up so fast! Here she is dressed and ready for her 1st day at full-time Kindy last Monday! Talk about excited... She HAD to wear a skirt, she is starting to want to wear dresses and skirts ALL the time...Anyway, she loves Kindy and I am loving the break from her, she is into the FERAL FOURS, although still lovely aswell!! (of course!!)

CHICKEN CHOW MEIN!!!!!
From Jamie Oliver's Ministry of food!! Was a really yummy dish and I knew that DH thought so too, as he took leftovers for lunch and he only ever does that when something is really good! So, I was pleased with myself!! If you want the recipe, let me know and I will post it!!

This photo of my friend's baby is too cute, she bought her around for her first swim yesterday but she didn't like it at all!!! She was interested to see what was going on, but I think the pool scared her.. She is too cute and had real tears when close to the pool....

CJ entry for Simmi's swap, it has sort of hidden journalling ont he two red pages poking out of each side, and the affirmations are from a deck of Louise Hay Affirmations. I looked through them for appropriate ones and was going to re-write them but thought, I may aswell just use them on my page! (A-la Witchy style)

All is ok around here, am starting to have a little panic about the future, but my feelings are up and down anyway so I know I will be ok in a day or so... The baby's birth is coming up soon now, and I am forced to think about things a bit more...
A couple of things lately have made me face the actual reality of the situation...
I have been putting off thinking about things as I knew it was a long way away,
And now it seems as though the birth is really not that far away now...
And I'm scared for the future and what might happen and I know that worrying now won't help things one bit but I am suddenly remembering how small Mia was when she was born and the truth of what may come our way with a brand new baby. I just hope that it's strong and fights with everything it's got!!

Enough sadness, it's a beautiful day here today and when Mia goes to Kindy this afty, I am going to sit at my scrap table and play and tommorow when Mia goes to Kindy I am going up the road to sit at my wonderful friend's house and scrap there too!!! So, let's bring on some scrapping, hey!!

Hi there!!! Been a little while! But I'm still around, blog hopping when I can and trying to inspire myself... just not sitting at my scrap desk and actually scrapping... Oh well, it shits me that I'm not scrapping much, I have a lot of nice new papers and embellies, but just am not into it! I have to pull my finger out this week and do the two CJ's that are sitting on my desk, so that is this weeks mission! One of my CJ's from another swap I have been involved in has gone missing at this stage, and I am a bit upset about it, but really in the big scheme of life and things in life, it's not going to affect me forever IYKWIM, so I am not getting that upset over it...
The below LO is for The Boxx's monthly sketch challenge, it's ok, was DH's birthday on the 29th so used some photos from that....
Oh, and the photo of Mia and I was taken today, we have been swimming in the pool today, it's the first time that I have gotten in this season, and I must say it was nice and warm in there, we all had a great time.. lots of pool toys that I just have to have in the pool too, and even though we had sunscreen slapped on, it's nice to feel the sun on the skin! I am 27 weeks in this photo, DH was sitting down, while we were standing up, surely I don't look that big!!! Not in my tummy, but everywhere else?? Anyway..... As long as the baby is healthy apart from it's existing probs, I'm a happy camper!

This post has turned into a bit of a ramble as usual, but here is a piccy of the new Jamie Oliver cookbook I scored this week, full of fabulous, back to the basics recipes that I need, I am not into my cooking either ATM, so it's going to inspire me (I hope)... Far out though, these books are exy, I saw this online for $65 not that I paid that much, but it was still $40..... That's retail therapy for you!!

And I watched an episode of this (Jamie at home) on Austar this evening, what a great show, tonights was about carrots and beets, so now I want to grow white, purple, AND orange carrots... Maybe next year but I have already found heritage seeds online, I just love to grow vegies.... Next year FOR SURE!!!

Thanks for visiting, and thanks to all my internet friends who I know think about us... I am doing ok, just have to wait and wait now.... Baby is kicking strongly and that makes me so happy... DH and I are working on a few names, I really want one with 'meaning' behind it...
Thanks for visiting!!

G'day there!
Above is the weekly challenge for THE BOXX, use a B&W photo, and B&W with one other colour! I hope that i actually got the challenge right, it doesn't really matter, at least I scrapped!

My scrap area is like a bomb has hit it, I really really need to work out some storage solutions, but what happens is, is that you get your scrap area all sorted and then in about 6 months all those solutions don't work so well anymore as you have somehow accumulated MORE scrap stash! I wonder how that happens! Are we all a bit guilty of having all this 'stuff' to scrap with and then never really having a hope in hell of using it all????

Here I am at 24 weeks, I am actually 25 weeks today and this pic was taken by my friend on Tuesday so to I'm not going to get all technical BUT I suppose I am 24 weeks and 5 days in this pic! I have to print this out and do my pregnancy journal TODAY, it's been too long between journalling in that journal of mine! It's like a lot of things I start, I start them, never to continue, but I had better, this journal is going to be like one big book by the time I have finished! I've decided I might just keep using it once bubba is born, so that when it is older this bubba can read the whole story of it's journey to get to good health in one convenient spot!

Mia's new blow-up easel, that Mum and i picked up in Adelaide last week for $25!! I couldn't leave it behind for that sort of $$$$$. Very cheap entertainment I rekon! Tatum, Lil and Bastian came and visited last week and the kids had a good ol' paint, I think they had more fun painting themselves and each other! Mia had a bath when it was all over... all the kids looked like they belonged in the circus! It's all about fun, fun, fun when you are a kid!

Well, within myself I am ok, my brain is always thinking, sometimes the only time it goes quiet is when I sleep, so I have been going to back to early pregnancy days and having little laydowns in the afty... I could be using my time so much better, but I really don't care, it's working for me and Mia is happy to flit around and watch tele, play with her babies and barbies, and do her thing! It's a little stress relief... and an indulgent part of my day, in a few months I will no longer be able to do this at all unless Bubs is a better day sleeper than Mia was... I'm not even sure this baby will have much of a routine for the first few months, I just know I will be a soft touch and give this little one whatever, whenever!!!!

So, that's about it for the moment, thanks for dropping in, and if you visit Lucy, (cyber granny) I am thinking of you heaps and have been very slack, but you have been on my mind, I hope you drop in here to catch up with us!!

Better go, Mia is cutting and pasting at the dining table and has just deliberately cut her t-shirt! FAR OUT!! At least she is honest and told me she did it just to see what would happen!

Not much happening around here... Can't really be bothered to scrap, I know I will get over that and have a burst shortly and pump out lots of LO's.
Mia and I are flying off to Adelaide to the WCH today to have a check-up, this ones more just your routine checkup not anything really to do with the bubs condition, it's mainly because the lovely Beck from WCH felt sorry for me, when she told me that the Dr didn't need to see me until 32 weeks, I became a little bit of a basket case, she immediately booked me in for this vis.. I was feeling VERY emotional at the time, and she took pity on me. I am ok, just thinking alot about it all, I have some beautiful friends who have offered to come to Melb when baby and us are over there, it may not happen, but that these two special friends have offered, well it means the world, at this stage none of us know what is going to happen and when but it's a pretty special offer I think!
I'm a bad blogger, but at the moment, I just am a pretty uninteresting person!

Hope all who pop in here are well!!!

The above LO is for The Boxx's weekly challenge, my first LO in about 3 and a half weeks, so it felt prertty good to actually sit down and scrap!!

The above LO is just for me, went to Tatums to scrap today and took just one photo with me and this is what I came up with, I'm pretty happy with it!

Mia is soooooo into scissors and cutting at the moment, she goes on the hunt for empty toilet rolls and cuts them up too, then out comes thje sticky tape to stick it all together! Except Mia says Stippy Tape, she's too cute really!

What can I say, I bought myself a Pandora and I'm mighty happy about it, I plan to get a bead every week or two, I'll see how I go with that one! Then by the time baby is born, it should be getting nice and full!

And a Father's Day hug, we had a great day, DH got a coffee machine, which is something I have really wanted for ages but luckily he is pretty happy with it too! LOTS of hot chocolates getting consumed around here at night!

Thankyou to everyone who has offered me/us support, an ear, a shoulder, just to know that you are there makes me feel so much better...
I feel more on an even keel, even though I am ALWAYS thinking about Bubba and it's future and what is in store for us all, but I can think more about Bubba's problems and not cry (for now anyway) so I'm feeling that that is a good thing for now, there will be ALOT of tears soon enough!

Anyway, thankyou it all helps... in the words of Witchy, leave me some love if you visit!

Well after a "i'm not coping" day yesterday
today is much better
there are so many things to be thankful for
an unexpected hug from a friend who has no idea how much it was actually needed
(and how much better it made me feel)
flowers from my 'sister-girl' in Darwin I miss her so much
fresh loaf of bread from the breadmaker, 3 laps of woolies waiting for the bread to be unpacked, and I thought, I can make one myself!
hot homemade sausage rolls from the oven, hearty and yum
sitting on the lounge while the sausage rolls are cooking with a hot water bottle to make my sore back feel soothed
an enthusiastic 4 year old who won't let you feel sorry for yourself for too long
because she wants to PAINT, GLUE and play with pastry offcuts
and
little kicks from inside me reminding me that there will be so much joy aswell as worry but still a little miracle inside me....

I'm back and I'm feeling ok, for today at least!
It was Miss Mia's birthday last Thursday! Our big 4 year old! I took 6 ultra crappy photos on her actual birthday but my Dad took lots on Saturday when we had her party. It was a rainy kind of day to start with so we had the party inside... It would have been much much better if the kids were able to go outside but oh well....
I got the window hanging from a cheap shop for $2, what a bargain, Mia's Dad put up streamers and balloons and I really hope that all the kids had a good time while they were here. The whole thing was a bit of an effort and I was teary in the morning so I made myself snap out of it and tried to make it a fun day...

Mia running around excited as she knew her friends were coming soon!

Balloons are such cheap fun, except the ones I had here must have been old as they kept popping for not much reason at all and my Mum and Dad did a mercy dash to Woolies to get more! We still have heaps of balloons on the loungeroom floor!

Mia and her 'cake', I had visions of something else, maybe we should have made smaller cupcakes but no-one cared! I wanted it to look like a rainbow, but as I'm creatively challenged this is what it turned out like! Yum though!!

Mia and Lil having a quiet moment! Mia is quite excited to be 4, and I just can't believe that she is 4, she had grown so fast really!!

We have had a very hectic and upsetting 2 weeks, I am still coming to terms with it all, but am feeling strong and positive today, full of optimism for the future....
On the 18th of August we were in Port Lincoln for what we thought was going to be a routine scan, my biggest worry was that the sonographer wouldn't be able to see what sex the baby was..looking back I think I was naive but then again, you have no idea of what's ahead, you just don't know. You just presume that all is going well.... We had a normal scan, everything was looking good, but the lady couldn't get a proper look at Bubba's heart... we went away twice for walks hoping that the baby would get into a better position, and bubs still did not get into a good position. So off we went, we were to go back when the sonographer was in her lunch break, as it turns out I went back on my own, but again, how were we to know! Hubby had to go to the dentist for a toothache... It was while I was on my own that the sonographer said that she wasn't seeing the heart like she should be and I would need to go to Adelaide for further scans and to see specialists over there. What a shock.... I started babbling, 'put me on a plane right now', and other things too... It was a huge shock... I walked out and sat in the dentists waiting room for 45 minutes with my sunnies on quietly losing it....
We had an appointment in the afternoon with the Dr that I THOUGHT would deliver bubba, he made a a few phone calls and we had two appointments made for Adelaide at the WCH for the next Monday, I was not at all happy about waiting a week but what can you do? We waited the week out, finally to hop on a plane on the Monday morning. I knew that the Hospital was huge and was feeling very scared that we would get lost and not know where to go. We did walk into the wrong dept first and the lady was a bit confused and so was I, I was just a total bundle of nerves... I started crying when they couldn't find me on the system...great start.
We did get to the right dept and they knew all about me, and what we were there for...We had a scan, which confirmed something was definately wrong with bubbas heart, and the paediatrition (sp) was wonderful, although it was so much to take in... He suggested an amnio as babies with these types of defects also have a risk of chromosomal problems as well... It was all too much. We had an appt with the Cardiologist at 2 so we went outside and sat in the sunshine, my teeth were rattling and I felt like vomiting, AN AMNIO????? We talked about our options and decided to go ahead with the testing...
We went back for the 2 o'clock appt with the sonographer again and the cardiologist aswell, they looked at the bubbas heart for at least 45 minutes, it really amazes me what they can tell, very special and skilled people! We went into a room and Dr Robertson expained what was happening with the bubbas heart. At this stage is has been diagnosed with DORV+VSD+GA+Co Ao, which means Double Outlet Right Ventricle with Ventricular Septal Defect with Transposition of the Great Arteries and Coarctation of Aorta! Sounds scary, huh! I am not stupid enough to think that that is a definate diagnosis, there is still alot of weeks before baby is born and more echos on bubbas heart and more trips to Adelaide... I do realise that things can and do change, and will take it all in as it comes...
And then life will not be the same once bubba is born, but that is another story, and I will write more about that when I know more.... Birth will be in Adelaide and bubbas operation(s) in Melbourne....and that is all I know so far...
We have had one lot of good news so far, we had the first test results from the amnio, the FISH results and so far there are no other problems, we are waiting on the full screen results which will probably be another week away but am feeling optimistic....
The two Drs that we saw in the WCH last Monday were fantastic and compassionate, we really can not say Thankyou enough... Our road is long but if there is one thing to be grateful for is that this is all known now. At least preparations will be put into place when the baby is born for all the best care it can get. If we didn't know now, all hell could have broken loose, at least now we can be in the best place possible....

Last Tuesday night, we were happy to be back home and i was happy to have a shower in my own shower, and to have my jammies on! I am 20 and a half weeks here.

And the little hole where the amniotic fluid was taken, it was a scary procedure, not painful but just really scary... I just had to get a photo of it, DH thought I was mad!! Note the piece of crap that I still have floating around in my camera!

Bubbas room, it is getting there, I want it to be done and all set up very soon, I want to have some sort of bags packed and organised soon too, you just never know, and I don't want Hubby to have the stress of having no idea where to find things if we have to leave in a hurry! You can never be too prepared!

Sorry for the hugest ramble, but this is as much for me and my memory as it is for you... I feel good for getting it out... I better go and do something around the house....

Thanks for visiting! xxx

I AM around, just not ready to blog properly... I'm up and down and all over the place. I'm tired and over it... My parents are here at the moment and I love them dearly, but I want my own space..... It's not them, it's me, I don't know what I want.
I will update soon, and it will be a BIG EXPLOSION of all kinds of things... stay tuned! xx

Hi, the above is for the weekly challenge at THE BOXX, 7 facts about yourself and a pic of yourself! I've done a few LO's on myself bow, so it wasn't too hard to ramble a bit about me!!

Another LO, just for fun! I love Leeann Pearce's idea of using felt on ghost letters and all manner of things really, so I tried it out!! You should check out her blog, I will put a link up in my side bar shortly coz I am not smart enough to put it HERE!! (turns out I am smart enough so you can use the link... Wonders will never cease)

Mia's birthday invites, don't you love how I've used paintbrush to immaturely scribble out out address and my ph number!! I thought I was very good at it.... NOT!!! Anyway she is having a rainbow theme, as that is the easiest for me, and she does not care either way!!
Below are the loot bag thingies that the kids will take home... I will put names on them when I know exactly who is coming... I am organised early as I am going off down south for a scan to see what the bubs is up to in there!!!

I have got all sorts of party favours to put in the chinese boxes, if you want to go and look at a great party on-line shop, go HERE,
and now I think I am a smarty pants as I have put 2 links in my text!
But seriously, the Party Parlour is a great shop, go check it out through my link!!
Leave me a msg if you come to visit!!

Hi there!! Well, I've just joined over at THE BOXX.... and I think you should too! I'm such a newbie so still working my way round, but they have great challenges and a great bunch of chickies there! The Jungle Girl LO was for the weekly challenge, I really enjoyed doing it, I love this photo of my Besties DD in Litchfield Nat Park just out of Darwin.... And I thought that the pp went well with it! Still going with my 'simple' style.... not sure if that's gpoing to change... I laughed when I saw some comments from Skye and Ali about my style, I just can't put more on my pages, it really does my head in, I get all manner of embellies out and play around but it never looks right so I just stick with keeping it simple! It's easier on my head space!! LOL!!
Oh, and the Top End Chick is of Mia at the same place, DH asked me if Mia was doing a poo in this photo??? I said get real, she is scratching her foot!! This LO was for the July sketch challenge, and I'm really happy with it, the colours are a bit more 'alive' in real life, but the photos I've been taking lately of my LO's look a bit washed out!
So, the moral of the story is get over to THE BOXX and check it out! I've also seen a Book Of Me prompt over there which is good for me, I started a BOM ages ago and have never continued with it,so I think now is the time!!

Mia went to a dress up party yesterday and looked soooo cute, it's such a pity about her head! Anyway, she will have HUGE scars and will ask me where she got them from and I'll have to tell her she did it to herself!
She looks like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth, unfortunately i know it does, but she is still a sweetie!!

Oh, and I put some Kaiser bling on her face which lasted for about 3 minutes before she pulled them off, I thought it made a nice finishing touch but she did not!! Bummer!

18 week photos, Mia had to be in them this time which is fine by me. I always pull silly faces in these preg photos, I end up looking like a gumby!!!

Mia and I bumping tummies, she loved it! I can feel distinct movements now, not alot but I can feel them! That is the part I love the most, I love to feel the bubs move around.... it's like a reward!!!

SO, this has been a big ramble of a post, hope it hasn't made you yawn!!!
Until next time!!! xxxx
