And I've scrapped.
A piccie of my chicky babes in the clam out the back. It was a lovely day, and they loved it!
I stitched on the page but because I had my bobbin in the wrong way around, it was a bit wonky on the underside so I used that side.
Brenton & I. It was going to be a lovey dovey LO, but after his in-ability to register that watching Criminal Investigations Australia in front of Mia was not what she needs to see, I was feeling frustrated about all of our differences so I put it down. And still I was kind. Ahh pfft. That's all I will say. Love him but it's how it is I guess in all relationships, not just ours.
Mia had been colouring in, then sorted them out into colour lots. Such an Ali thing to do.
Our back area after a spruce up with paint, some new laserlite, and plant re-arrangement. Loving it all now. Serene.
Waterplay out the back, Mia loves getting wet and muddy so they were banned to a grassy spot, and NO DIRT. Just not that day anyway. Can't stop it, but must have just washed the floors or something!
Mum gave me her recipe for Banana Squares last week, she used to make them alot when we were kids. Still as yummy as they were back then. But strangely tasted more like I remembered them to taste the next day. A bit like a cake, very good, very yum!
We had a crazy storm last Monday night, it was truly like none I had seen. Ever. It was like a tornado whipped through. Lightning and Thunder and the wind was so strong. My kids sad very very quietly on Nanna's lap while I went around shutting windows, gathering candles etc. Trees were down everywhere. I felt calm, but just had to be I suppose. You can't lose it in front of your kids, so you aren't scared anymore. (is that weird?) But we went for a rubberneck afterward and saw this rainbow. Magnificent really.
My little baby-cino addict. She loves a 'coffee' so cute. When we are out she has two in a row, but at home I let her have 3.... And by then I'm sick of frothing milk. She's so cute, how can I resist.
I'm excited about Christmas, we will be at out own home if I hadn't already mentioned it. It will be hectic having people here from the 22nd til the 31st. Only our parents though. I am feeling very excited and can't wait to have it here. It will be like one big dinner party as there will be only the 6 adults! LOL!!
Anyway, Mia and I will be busy as bees next week. We are going to make Peanut Balls, Truffles, Fudge, Coconut Ice, Apricot Balls, and any other yummy thing we feel like. Maybe some Rocky Road but with Ripe Raspberries instead of Turkish Delight. And stock up on the bubbles and beer, and get ready for feasting and sitting back and enjoying our kids and our parents. The weather is going to be very mild for here, we really have not had much heat at all. So it will be nice to be able to be outside and be comfortable too. We have got lots of Insect repellent and coils... Yay!! I can't wait for Christmas, have bought myself a few presents and popped them under the tree. My DQ canvas, (which when I showed my Mum, she bawled) new Delicious Book, and Becky Higgins Project life!! Teehee!! I have always wanted one and am thinking of using my 365 project photos and the stories of our everyday. I got my Brothers wife one too and while they didn't cost too much, the freight nearly gave me a heart attack, as it was alot. It will be worth it. I hope she likes it, I really do. It has enough stash to keep her going for the year, which is great for them as they are on a limited income.
It is common sense really but I can really relate to it. I haven't read alot but want to so adieu!
xx
