A couple more LO's for sharing! The indy Kid one is of Mia on her first day at pre-entry at Kindy. She had a ball! It kind of looks unfinished maybe, but that is the way it's going to stay!

And I love this LO of Mia, the photo was taken last Summer and I think I have scrapped it before but I just love how this one turned out! I love the papers and just how everything came together so quickly and I like the end result!

So yesterday I went to Tatum's place for a coffee and was totally inspired! I was lucky enough to look at her Masters entry(s) and also have a look at one of her albums, chock full of LO's so when I got home I was feeling pretty good and started scrapping. I did these two LO's and almost finished a third, which I thought I would finish today but haven't as yet! The LO above is of a much loved photo of Mia in Summer, I love this pic, and the one below is for a Christmas Photo swap pn SBM forum, I took nearly the whole month to do it, which is totally me to be like that but I like the end result. The colours don't look like that IRL, if you know the Peppermint Twist range you know that the colour looks a lil bit different!

Well, I must say it was lovely to look at someones pages in the flesh, it has been a long time since I have seen someone else's work and been able to ask, what did you do here, what did you do there, what are these on this page? Soooooo nice! And Tatum's work is so special in real life!!

Feeling tired today, Mia was a little bit unwell during the night, and I ended up sleeping in the spare bed with her, but not going back to sleep for ages, because I was just listening to her breathe and wondering if she was actually going to be sick or not. She wasn't... All good today although I can tell she is tired too, we had a couple of tantys early in the piece this morning and is saying she is tired and wants to go to bed! Not at 3 o'clock in the afty NO WAY!

Mia put herself to sleep on the lounge room floor last weekend..... She got the pillow and the rug herself and just crashed out. I was outside watching the fellas put our pool fence up. She is so cute when she is asleep, not so cute when she was still awake at 10.30 that night!!

This is typical of a Mia tea.... She is a painful eater, so if she eats this assortment I have to be happy with that! She just won't eat at all what DH and I have at tea time, so I try to get her to eat some salad at least.....

16 weeks now, it's cruising along.... Can't wait to go see 'my' Dr in the hometown and book in to the hospital and have my 19 week scan there too.... 3 weeks time that will be happening!

Mia started pre-entry at Kindy last Monday, she loves it... It's good because she has so many little friends there, I think she wishes she could go all the time... Next term, baby!! This is the pic I took just before we left to go for her first ever time!

And lastly, a little view of the bubs room, my parents came to visit last week and bought so much baby gear with them that was Mia's when she was small. My Mum is gung-ho and wanted to wash everything and have it all sorted and put away... somewhere... all within the first few days. I am not in that much of a rush, I have HEAPS of time left yet! It bought back heaps of memories of Mia as a bub, I just cannot believe she fitted into those clothes. The Op Shop loved us because we took a lot of things out there that I just didn't like or want anymore. One good thing about getting older is I find it easy to just work out what I want to keep, and not to feel guilty because so and so gave us this or that.... Mum was spinning out at the things I was putting in bags for the Oppy... Our tastes are soooooo different!!!!



Hardly scrapping to be had around here, which is soooo sad, just keeping up with my preg journal, but not much else! I am constantly thinking about scrapping but just don't have the urge, although when I have scrapped, I've gotten right into it! I don't know, I'm feeling abit BLAH at the moment! I think going and having a coffee with Tatum tommorow will sort me out! I need some inspiration that is for sure!
What a ramble of a post sorry that there is no scrapping to share, I am so boring!!
FARMER WANTS A WIFE is on tonight so not sure if I will be doing any tonight either! Oh and Gordon Ramsey is on Denton too so will be tuning in to that! He is brash and rude but I love it!

I am loving TOP DECK at the moment, have just about eaten a full block in the last 24 hours!!!

My new scrap desk. I picked it up for $50 at a garage sale and DH sanded it back and gave it a coat of varnish! I have a bit of sorting out to do,but maybe tommorow as I have a headache!!

Tonights tea, Red Wine and Beef caserole! Yum, was pretty rich though!!! My friend told me about how she made it so I copied her!

A LO about how we love Garage Sales! None today though!!!!! Bummer!

Mia at the park on Friday! She loved it! I took heaps of photos but she still has her scabs on her head so I only really like the ones where you can't see her bandaid!

I'm feeling pretty ordinary at the moment so will leave it at that! I'm tired and have this blasted headache, but anyway, I hope you are having a good weekend and a great Sunday tommorow!! xxx

A page I did earlier in the week, this photo is over a year old but I already had it printed out and ready to scrap to I did! I have alot of photos printed out that I thought I was going to scrap ages ago, so now is the time I think to start scrapping them, don't you think!
A CJ entry, I did both of these entries yesterday for the same swap, I have one more for this swap in my hands to do, so am going to finish the 3rd and then send them off! I was pretty happy yesterday to just sit and scrap, Mia was at childcare for a few hours in the morning so I just started and kept going on and off all day! I had a bit of a dilemma with the largest purple bird on the 'before i die' one! I thought the DM was dry (it felt dry) so shut the CJ only to open it a few hours later, with the bird stuck to the pic of me! So a new photo was attached and a new birdy was inked and DM'd. And I had the bird sitting on my desk, somehow it fell onto the floor, so now the bird isn't so smooth and my floor had purply DM on it! The bird is staying roughed up and will try to get the DM off of my tiles somehow!

Mia is soooo into her babies at the moment and as you can tell, she has a few! She keeps getting them given to her so now has a collection! She has one favourite but plays with them all! I came into my room the other morning to find them ALL lined up having a sleep!
And check out Miss Pizza girl! She got me to cook the base with only the sauce on it then wanted to put the toppings on AFTER!!! Not my style, but she has her silly little ways! Cute! And check her forehead out, she keeps picking at her sores EVERYDAY, and has made a big mess of herself. One started out as a tiny little pimple type thing and the other was a tiny scratch from one of her friends! They love each other really they do, this little friend just sometimes thinks she's a little kitten with claws!! I have been putting bandaids on to discourage her from picking but still she picks!! ARRRRGGGHH! Doesn't look so good in photos!




And Skye has tagged me with 7 random facts about myself, so here goes! I had to really think, as I don't have any weird things that I have to do! I step on all the cracks, I'll keep driving if a black cat crosses my path, hell, I've even been known to walk under ladders!!!

1. I don't care for makeup, I look better with a little bit on, but really couldn't care!

2. I think I'm a bit shy.

3. I have to make my bed EVERY day!

4. I hate my house being untidy, BUT I can walk past the same pile of stuff for a week and not really even notice it!

5. I wanted to be a writer when I was younger.

6. Hardly any of my real life friends or family know I blog.

7. Two of my best friends left town just over two years ago and I still pine for them!!

OK!! Time for an update! Above is my week 13 entry into my journal! Except I have been about a week ahead of myself!! Ha! I really was only 13 weeks yesterday... My dates have been a bit all over the place, so I might have 2 entries for 13 weeks!! It's all ok, though, these things happen!

CHECK OUT MY CHOOK!! Ok, for a really really yummy roast chicken, cut up half a lemon, a few garlic cloves roughly chopped, chuck that inside your chook along with a bunch of Rosemary hanging out the end, spray with a bit of olive oil spray, cook and you end up with a VERY delicious and tender chicken! I cooked this in the Weber but I rekon the oven would be just as good! I just really like using my Weber, tiny bit of effort to get the yummiest end results!I though YUCK when I read about the lemon but I tell you, it makes it lovely.......(and yep, Melis you are right, i love my cooking, lol)
