Did you see Scrapbook Creations no 46????? Ngaire Bartlam did a clear scrapbook with laminte, I loved it so much I wanted to give it a go!! We were all laying around on our bed yesterday having group cuddles, and I got the camera out and took some pics, played around with them in PICASA and printed some out to use! The pics here are a bit shocking as I took them this morning, but hopefully you get the idea! I used a hot laminator, but next time I will use clear laminate from the newsagent and do it that way(the way Ngaire did), as the laminate sheets used in the hot laminator showed too many flaws..... And if anyone knows where I can get jump rings in a good quantity can you let me know as I plan on doing these for Chrissy Pressies!! Hopefully the next one I post looks heaps better than this one but I'm happy for my first try! xxx

MY NEW SCRAP SPACE!!! And if you couldn't tell I'm pretty happy with myself! It's not big but doesn't need to be, IT'S MINE, ALL MINE!!!!! (evil laugh) Seriously though, I have been hanging to have a little table to scrap at, and after the re-arrangement of our living areas, I rekon this will work!!!
Well, it did last night as I did a few 'mini's' for a few girls over at SM forum, have more to do but it's all cool, I will get there in the end, coz now I have my table, I'll be there everynight!! This one is for MAZ!!! Photos are shocking but oh well!!!

I've been a slack blogger and a slack scrapper lately, my energy levels are missing, what is an energy level anyway.... Mine is non-existent!! had a sick little Mia-moo this week, took her to the hospital one night as we were a bit worried about her coughing, it was uncontrollable and she ended up vomiting and had a temp! Anyway, she has recovered! And that's great!
Here is a LO I have done for the September photo swap at SM forum, I hope Unicorns80 likes it! I am happy with it and of course it looks better IRL!

And Mia, well she crashed out on our bed yesterday after proclaiming LOUDLY that she wasn't tired... And I was vacuuming while she fell asleep! NOT TIRED HAHA!!! And I am excited that now I have my very own scrap space, I have been so jealous of all my SM friends who have fabulous scrap rooms/spaces, so have been racking my brains and came up with a space solution.... and Hubby doesn't mind one bit which is good!!!

Well all I want to do is whinge about how little time I have had to myself in the last 2 weeks but I shouldn't so I won't, BUT I am dissapointed at missing out on the LSBS CC this weekend, I would have loved to have the time to 'challenge myself' but oh well! Haven't been scrapping, started a page this week but it's all to hard with a houseful of visitors so I am promising myself that this week I am going to scrap,scrap, scrap!!!!! Just a few pics for viewing, I will be back when I'm in a better frame of mind!!!!!!
This is Mia's room after her and her 2 friends trashed it! Oh well I suppose they had fun doing it, not that any of them wanted to clean it up so myself and my fab friend did! We freaked when we saw it!!!!

Well have been away since Friday morning, got back yesterday and started a new job today! Feeling a bit frazzled at the moment but am having my 2nd cup of coffee for the hour!!!!!

We went back to the 'hometown' as my hubby's dear old Nanna passed away last Monday and the Funeral was on Friday. It was very hard to watch my mother-in-law cry for her Mum, she was very upset.... I can't even imagine what it would be like to lose my Mum, I don't even want to think about that yet! Luckily my parents are very healthy. Nanna was very old and was incapable of looking after herself for a long time. I have only known her like this, I said to Hubby that I would have loved to have known her for the person she really was not the lady she had become. It's a very sobering time to be standing at someones graveside and realise that their life is over and that it happens to all of us..... I guess we all have to be grateful for what we have and live life for the moment and only worry about today because we can't change yesterday or predict tommorow..... What a ramble..... Sometimes I think too much about these things...

The photo is of Mia with 1st cousins and 2nd cousins on Friday night, not all of them could be there but it was nice to get a pic of all that were! I always get confused as to what cousins kids are to each other, I just call them 2nd cousins although I'm not sure it that's what they are! A few of them had snotty noses and I always forget to wipe before pics so here they are in all their glory!

Well, I have a few housework issues that need to be taken care of, so had better go, and I also have nearly 30 pages on the SHOWCASE thread to catch up on the forum and I will only let myself look at them AFTER the housework issues are taken care of! If I don't impose these little guidelines on my internet use, I would never get ANY housework done! xxx

Feeling mighty inspired at the moment! This LO is for my BOM, also week one's challenge for the Spring comp at SCRAPLOOT!! Have also finally started on my cards for Emily Falconbridge's art challenge! I loved playing with that last night even though it didn't quite work out as planned! Reading Naire Bartlam's book at the moment too which is giving me heaps of inspiration! LET"S JUST SAY I"M INSPIRED!! Also did a bit of on-line purchasing this week already with the Tree of Life cards from Tarisota and Tash's kit from LSBS! I can't wait til they come in the mail! Let's see how quickly i can stuff em up!!!!! HAHAHA!!!

Happy Fathers Day to all those special Daddys out there! And if you be a single Mum, have a absolutely huge hug from me, I'm your biggest admirer!!! Here's the hubster with his new toy, a blower vac, he just had to have it! He put it all together and then used it for 10 minutes then put it away and sat on the lounge and watched the footy! GO FIGURE!!! Anyway, he's happy that's the main thing! Mia was saying 'Happy Father's Day' all day and asking him if her crappy but made with love Father's Day presents she made him 'Daddy did this make you happy' and of course it does, she's just beautiful, except for when we know she is really tired but WON"T HAVE A SLEEP!!!! Mia and her Daddy going for a walk around the block on her new bike, she loved it!
Gonna join in a comp at SCRAPLOOT!!! It's a comp which involves doing a BOM! I am so into it, don't even wanna win anything BUT am so happy for the inspiration, I really want to do my BOM for Mia and any other kids I might have to get a glimpse into the real me and what I'm all about! Not just their Mum but as ALI the person too!! The 1st challenge is about collections and took a fair few photos around the house today of all the things i happen to collect, and thongs is one of them! Havianas rock my world, it gets impossibly hot here in summer so have heaps of them because they are all I wear for 6 months of the year! Gotta be colour co-ordinated you know! I am all class I know but they are oh so comfy! So get your bum over to scraploot and check it out! I for one love the idea of a BOM!
